One of the surest ways to minimize the return on investment in movies these days is to put money into an anti-Iraq-war film. The
latest disappointment is "Stoploss," about a soldier who is required to return after serving a tour in Iraq. Apparently screenwriters these days are unfamiliar with the quality of men and women who enlist in the military and honor their commitments. They don't seem to think such heroes are believable.
